Steve Birket Elected to Themed Entertainment Association Board of Directors

Birket Engineering’s Business Development Director Steve Birket     has been elected to the international board of directors of the Themed Entertainment Association (TEA). The annoucement was made at the TEA's annual meeting in association with the International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions annual trade show in Las Vegas.

Birket Engineering is the parent operating group which includes Birket Specialty Lighting. Birket is also vice-president of Birket Specialty Lighting.

The Themed Entertainment Association is the only international non-profit association representing the world's leading creators, developers, designers and producers of compelling places and experiences. TEA members bring the experience of engaging storytelling and entertainment to a vast number of casinos, restaurants, retail stores, museums, zoos, theme parks and an ever-growing list of destinations that aim to bring a higher level of visitor experiences world-wide.

Steve’s three-year term on the international board follows his two years as TEA Eastern Division President and two years as Eastern Division Secretary. Currently Steve is part of the SATE committee, developing the TEA 2010 SATE Conference.

Birket Engineering, Inc. has been a TEA member since the association’s beginnings.
